Dr Olu-Sawyerr has specialised in the treatment of chronic/degenerative diseases, including cancer and infertility, and success rate in all cases is remarkably high. He is also the C.E.O. and principal consultant of Rick Sawyerr & Associates, a firm of health consultants. Professionally, he is seen in the area of health as a leading voice of nutritional medicine in Ghana and the foremost advocate of Integrative Medicine. He has initiated series of meetings in this regard with prominent medical personnel, including those at the University of Ghana Medical School.

Dr. Olu-Sawyerr has facilitated Health Seminars for multinational and local companies, including Banks. He has presented seminal papers on Nutritional Medicine at local and international conferences and has delivered lectures on Orthomolecular Medicine at the Biochemistry Department and the School of Allied Health Sciences of the University of Ghana.
